Cannellini Bean Dip
Bring this low-fat, high fiber, high protein recipe to your next playoff party or tailgate. This bean dip is healthy and simple to make, with just 8 ingredients. The cannellini bean is a creamy, slightly nutty, mild bean; it is an excellent source of iron, magnesium, and folate. When you add Instabroth, you are also adding extra protein!
1 can cannellini beans
2 cloves garlic
handful fresh flat leaf parsley
juice of 1/2 lemon
1/2-1 C Protein Essentials Instabroth, chicken flavored
drizzle olive oil
salt and pepper to taste
Heat 1 cup water, add 1 scoop Instabroth, stir and set aside. Rinse, drain and dry the cannellini beans. Add cannellini beans to food processor. Add 2 cloves garlic, parsley, juice of 1/2 lemon, drizzle of olive oil, salt, pepper and 1/2 C Instabroth. Pulse. Add more broth to attain desired consistency. Serve with zucchini slices, carrots, or crackers.
